Forbes magazine recently published their football financial performance report from the 2012-2013 season. The revenues in the reports are based on the football clubs’ value. Their income is generated through cash flows from ticket sales, TV rights, advertising agreements, sponsorship deals and merchandising sales. The first two places are acquired by the Spanish duo. Real Madrid makes to the top of the list for the first time in 9 years while Barcelona takes over Manchester United in the second position. Spanish club Real Madrid ranks first on the list of Top 10 richest football clubs in terms of revenue with annual turnover of $675 million and Total value of $3,440 million. According to The Guardian report, 41% of their income comes from commercial deals, with the aforementioned TV rights deal presenting them €140 million.

2.       Barcelona
