Norwegian artist Markus Moestue has developed a unique dinosaur as an art school project. He is currently travelling across the bible belt in Norway on his homemade dinosaur sykkel and describes the road trip as a “protest against the dogmatic religious education of children.”
The 32-year old sculptor started off his project six months back. He used several old bicycle parts and Styrofoam to support the dinosaur’s body. Using a traditional kitchen knife the styrofaom was carved into a reptile that resembles a Triassic-era Coelophysis and painted it. He documented the construction process on his blog along with beautiful images. The images clearly indicate how the dinosaur –sykkel drew the public attention wherever he went.
