A French artist has, sort of, grew Nike sneakers for the sake of the footwear art. He has recreated a series of Nike high-top sneakers using a variety of selected wild flowers, plants, grass, and wooden chips. Christophe Guinet, the creator, calls it ‘Just Grow It’ project, and he wish to “rediscover the beauty of a single seed of a wild grass, the delicacy of a flower, or the smell of the foam”.
For whatever these lines go for, but the outcome is quite fascinating. You know nothing but that sneakers are meant to be worn in feet, therefore, these pieces of art gives you a peep into the world of random creative ideas. Imagination could surprise you with its capability to cross pre-conceived ideas and limits.
