Lemon contains citric acid which contains natural bleaching properties. Lemon also contains vitamin C which is a powerful anti-oxidant which is effective in protecting the skin against free radical damage and promoting the production of collagen, contributing to skin renewal. Lemon also has exfoliating properties which gets rid of the dead skin cells and lightens dark patches. Extract the juice from lemon and using a cotton ball, apply it on the back of your neck. Leave it on for 15 minutes before washing it off. Repeat this twice or thrice a day. Another way is to take a lemon slice and massage the back of your neck with it for a minute and leave it on for 15 minutes.
You can get rid of dark neck easily using baking soda. Baking soda helps by acting as a natural exfoliant and getting rid of all the dead skin cells. Take baking soda and make a paste by adding water to it. Use this paste to apply on the dark patches of your neck. Leave it to dry for around 15 to 20 minutes and then wash it away. Repeat this every day until you get rid of the dark patches.
Cucumber also acts as an exfoliant and helps get rid of dark neck. Take a cucumber and grate it. Apply the grated cucumber on to your neck and leave it on for around fifteen minutes. Rub your neck while washing it off. Later, apply some rose water on your neck. Instead of grated cucumber, you could also use cucumber juice. Mixing cucumber juice with lemon juice would be even more effective. Do this every day to get good results.
Papaya has an enzyme called papain which is effective in getting rid of dead skin cells. You could also use strawberries since they have antioxidants that are effective in repairing damaged skin. Crush a piece of papaya and 2 strawberries and use this paste to apply on your neck. Leave for fifteen minutes before washing it off. Do this every day. Another way to use papaya for your skin is to grate it and squeeze out the juice using a cloth. Smear your neck with this juice and leave for 15 minutes before washing it off. Repeat it regularly.
Almonds are rich in vitamins and keep the skin nourished, removing dark patches. Take around 5 to 6 almonds and soak them in water. Grind them to make a paste and apply it on your neck. Scrub it for a few minutes and then wash it away. Do this 3 to 4 times in a week. Another way is to grind almonds and add honey to the paste. Apply this to your neck and leave for 20 minutes before washing it off. Do this everyday.
